Water
Everyday water safe. Rain, handwashing and a splash are no trouble. Take it off to swim or shower so the natural materials and finish keep looking their best. Dry it thoroughly if it does get wet.
Full care advice is in our jewellery care guide, and our materials guide explains what each finish is.
Care
Care depends on the materials in a piece, which are listed in its description. As a general rule, put jewellery on last and take it off first, keep perfume, hairspray, lotions and harsh cleaners away from the surface, and store pieces separately so they do not rub against each other.
Freshwater pearls, plated finishes, sterling silver and natural stones each need their own handling. Our jewellery care guide covers each material in detail, and the material guide explains what each finish is and how it behaves.
